About the Collection

This is the collection of John Brinzo, a northeastern Ohio classic car collector. It has been assembled over the last five years following John's retirement as a mining industry executive. The collection came into being as a result of John's passion for the cars of his youth and the suggestion of his wife that he needed a hobby after over 40 years of career employment.

The collection includes mainly General Motors' cars from the 50's, 60's, and early 70's. There are a few exceptions, including a '36 Ford street rod, a '57 Ford Fairlane 500, and a 2011 Camaro convertible, modified and tuned by Hennessey Performance Engineering. The others are some of the finest examples of GM design and engineering from a period that many believe to be the zenith of GM's dominance of the auto world and a great period of automotive performance. The collection includes the top models from every GM division in the 50's, full-size performance cars from the 60's, and top models from the muscle car era.

The collection totals 25 cars, which is about the maximum size. John would like to create some "portfolio turnover" and has chosen to offer some his cars for sale. For those cars offered for sale, an asking price is shown in the detail section for each car. The cars that John wants to retain in the collection are labeled "core collection"; however, if there is an interest in buying one of these cars, serious offers would be considered.
